wooden buckler
A small wooden shield meant to be strapped to the arm, leaving the hands free.
Shields only grant their AV when you successfully block an attack.
A wooden buckler is a tier-0 shield that can be worn on the arm or held in hand, granting a base 25% chance to block attacks in melee. As it is made of wood, it is not susceptible to rust or 
pulsed field magnets.
