fullerite aegis
A black aegis bearing the cross of the Putus Templar.
Shields only grant their AV when you successfully block an attack.
A fullerite aegis is a tier-5 shield. When held in hand, it grants a 25% base chance to block melee attacks. Like other metal items, it is susceptible to rust and being pulled away by pulsed field magnets.

- Though the fullerite aegis is marked with a cross in its description, the primary symbol of the Putus Templar appears to be a rhombus.
