Fire Breath is a mutation which is similar to Flaming Ray, but fires in a large cone-shaped area. This mutation is the signature ability of flamebeards. Additionally, this mutation grants +100 heat resistance.
Creatures with this mutation gain the ghostly flames natural equipment in their face slot.
In addition to damage, being hit by Fire Breath causes a creature's temperature to rise by 310 + (25 * MutationLevel).[1]
This mutation may also be obtained as a cooking effect when cooking with certain ingredients.
