Advantages & Disadvantages
This section is opinion-based. Your mileage may vary.
Advantages
- Additional Strength causes the player to do more damage in melee via additional penetratons, as well as increases carrying capacity
- Gaining Strength from a mutation rather than by increasing it through the Attribute Points granted at level-ups allows those points to go to other Attributes, or allows you to get extremely high strength
- Synergizes well with weapons/mutations that have uncapped strength bonuses, such as Horns
- Synergizes well with mutations that grant additional limbs that can be used in combat, such as Multiple Arms
- The daze effect caused by this mutation can often prevent enemies from reacting to your attacks or fighting back
Disadvantages
- Moderate cost at character creation
- Grants a relatively low Strength bonus at mutation level 1 and takes many levels for this bonus to significantly increase
